The AI Jump Coach

My training.
Your pocket.

People ask me every single day how they can get my training. I would love to help every one of them. I just don't have enough time. So I built my training, my cues, and my voice into a coach that does.

And it learns you. Every jump you log, every lift, every question you ask, the coach knows you a little better. The more you train with it, the more the workouts become yours. That's the loop.

Legs feel heavy. Rest day or send it?
Heavy two days after squats is normal. Go, but cut the volume. Two sprint sets, four depth jumps, done in 25 minutes.
WHY: you respond hard to sprints. That's your cheat code, run more.

Build My Workout Plan

It writes the plan.
Then it trains you.

The coach does not hand everyone the same workout. Tap Build My Workout Plan and it reads your real numbers, your test history, and the days you actually train, then writes you a full week. Yours, built from your stats, not a template off a shelf.

Then it runs the session with you. Open your heavy lower day, see every lift with the sets and reps up front, and hit Start A Run. It walks you through set by set, and the second you rack the bar it starts your rest and counts it down for you. You just train.

Your dunks
deserve a home

Right now your archive is Instagram. You land something new, you post it, and three weeks later it's buried. Mine too. I have dunks I love that I genuinely can't find anymore.

Vertly gives every dunk its own card. Your clip lives on the back. Land it once and it's yours forever, organized so you can always find the one you're looking for.

Land it,
rip the pack

New dunk goes down, the pack comes out. The card climbs out of the wrapper, the chrome flash sweeps, and your bag gets one deeper. It never gets old.

First one's usually a Windmill. Rank 16. Everybody remembers their first windmill.

The Climb

Easiest to hardest.
Always a next one.

All 275 dunks on one road, from a lob you can catch today to dunks almost nobody on earth has landed. Eight houses on the way up. You always know your next card.

Pick your rim

8 foot counts.
That's the point.

Every dunk you log carries its rim height. Ten foot is the gold standard, but a 9 foot Tomahawk is still a Tomahawk, and an 8 foot rim is where every pro started. That's how I came up: messing around on low rims, adding one more twist, having fun.

So any kid can run the same climb I run. Same cards. Same game.

The rim seal gets stamped on every card you mint
The Celebration

When you PR,
the whole app stops

People always ask how I stay motivated. Honestly, how am I not? I made my whole career a game. Beat my squat max. Beat my best touch. Add one more twist to the dunk. That game is the reason I fly.

You don't have to train. You get to. So when you hit a new max, Vertly doesn't hand you a little checkmark. The lights go out, the number rolls, and the app throws you the moment you earned.

A new lift max gets THE LOCKOUT. A new jump gets THE TAKEOFF. And the day you pass everything you've ever done, that's a PEAK CALL.

Jumping young builds athletes

The window before 18 is when athletes are built, and jumping is one of the most studied ways to build one. Vertly turns that work into a game kids actually want to play.

For Dunkers

The bag you
always wanted

If you dunk, you already know the problem. Your best work lives in a camera roll with four thousand clips and a feed that buries everything after a week. You landed it. You should be able to find it.

Instagram is a feed.
This is a vault.

Every dunk in Vertly is one of 275 cards, hand-ranked by Cam from rank 1 (1 Hand off Lob) to rank 275 (360 Double Eastbay, the hardest dunk ever done). Land one, mint the card, and your proof clip lives on the back forever. Filterable, sorted, yours.

Rank is the map, not the gate. Nothing locks. If you can land rank 214 before rank 30, go take it.

Master a move

Sets group the catalog by move. Finish every windmill in the book and you mint the Windmill Master title card, a monument almost nobody else will hold. Ten sets. One is the endgame.

The eight Air Levels

Your vertical has its own ladder. Eight clubs from a 24 inch bounce to the 50 club, and every crossing gets its own ceremony. The 40 club is the only gold call in the app. Past 44, the air turns to ice.

For Parents

The best time to
build an athlete
is right now

Not with pressure. With play. That's the whole idea behind Vertly, and it's how the kid who built it became one of the highest jumpers in the world.

The window is real

The years before 18 are when the nervous system learns to be explosive. Young athletes who jump early and often are firing exactly the fibers that make fast, springy, coordinated adults. Jumping is one of the most studied markers of athleticism there is, and the direction of the research is consistent: the athletes who fly later are the kids who bounced early.

Fun is the engine

Kids repeat what feels like a game. Vertly turns jump training into one: every dunk is a card to earn, every vertical milestone is a club to join, and every new personal best gets a full-screen celebration. The training underneath is real. The wrapper is joy.

Low rims make it safe to start today

Nobody starts at 10 feet. In Vertly an 8 foot rim counts, a 9 foot rim counts, and every card is stamped with the height it was earned on. A 10 year old on the driveway hoop is running the same climb as a pro, imagining they're Cam Hazzard, and building real athleticism the whole time.

Honest by design

No fake promises. You will not find "+15 inches in 3 months" anywhere in this app. Progress gets measured honestly, celebrated loudly, and coached one next right step at a time. As Cam puts it:

"Jumping high isn't genetics, it's a skill. Change the small things and anyone can get off the ground."

The Story · Cam Hazzard

"I'm just trying
to have fun"

Before the biggest contest of my life, that's my whole answer. People expect nerves. I give them the truth.

This summer I'm one of 24 dunkers in the world that Shaquille O'Neal picked for the DunkMan League. It's live on TNT. There's $500,000 on the line. It's my first real dunk contest, and everyone keeps asking the same question: man, aren't you nervous?

And my answer is the same one it's been my whole climb: I'm just trying to have fun. That's not a line. It's the actual method.

The game in my head

I never grinded my vertical. I played it. Beat my squat max. Beat my best touch. Take a dunk I already had and add one more thing: a 360 Eastbay is already brutal, so finish it with two hands. Then change the style. One dunk becomes five, and every one of them is a new game to win.

I did all of that on low rims first. 8 foot, 9 foot, messing around with my friends, imagining bigger stages. While I was having fun, I was accidentally building a pro athlete. First dunk at 15 on a rec-center rim. A tested 50 inch vertical now, one of about seven people ever to do it.

The hard parts count too

It hasn't been clean. I tore both hamstrings weeks after my first windmill. In January I shattered a metacarpal and broke a knuckle off, plates and screws, hand strapped to my chest. The call about DunkMan came days after that surgery. Two and a half weeks after I was cleared to jump again, I went to class from 8 to 12, worked 12 to 5, drove to the gym, and tested 50. My 8 to 5, and then tested 50.

Why I built Vertly

The game I just described was always in my head: the numbers, the next dunk, the celebrations I gave myself. Vertly is that game, built for real. A coach trained on how I actually train, that learns you the way I'd learn you. A bag for every dunk you land, because your best work deserves better than a buried post. A climb that always has a next card. And celebrations, because the whole point is that you don't have to do this. You get to.

I wish I had this as a kid. It was already playing in my head. Now I just get to hand it to you.

"I'm a full-time student working two jobs, and I still tested a 50 inch vert. Not by grinding for hours, by training efficient and having fun with it."
